I have been using milebug for about a year and a half now. Being in the consulting industry, I am having to drive to numerous clients each day. With this app, I can quickly select my clients (inserted as a frequent destination) and my vehicle and simply record the mileage between each destination.
Adding additional expenses is very easy for each trip. At the bottom of the trip log is a expense amount that you can add each expense. Also, there is a simple but effective note taking feature that allows you to write notes for the trip if needed.
The reports feature is best feature of the application. At the end of the year, I was able to generate a monthly report for each month and email to myself, which I promptly printed out. The report listed everything in the trip log including starting/ending mileage, total mileage, expenses, notes. The report even calculated the amount I could claim based off the preset rates (which you can change in the settings).
Overall, I highly recommend this application because it does exactly what it is intended to do. The ease of use and generated reports make filing taxes less of a headache this year.
